Bands featured on similar-bands.com are handpicked according to popular demand, researched, and paired together with bands that have similar musical features, sound, and overall genre- and profile similarities. This site is a non-profit project by enthusiasts looking to further explore their interest in musical writing and to discover new and upcoming bands and artists that the different music scenes have to offer. While the site has been focusing down on the alternative rock scene, this is not exclusive to the content that could and will be presented on the site.

Every article and idea has to be approved and discussed before going live. That’s why we advise you NOT TO send a written article before having a topic discussed first.
Merely submitting an article is not a guarantee to have it posted on the site. It has to be fact and quality checked before being published, and we can refuse to publish an article, should we deem it not fit for the site – whether it would be because of quality, fact, or writers subjective opinion.
